WHO WE ARE
Founded in February 2016 Borrowed Notes is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is provide children and young adults the opportunity to play/learn a musical instrument and through it discover the joy of making music.
Financial and/or social disadvantage can prevent youths exploring and discovering creative paths which, through the development of cognitive and non-cognitive skills, could greatly enrich their social skills and emotional development.
Creative enrichment programs have the power to promote self-discipline, provide motivation and to increase self-confidence in their talent and ability.
Music uplifts us, it inspires and motivates us, it provides a platform to launch our protests and express our identities it is the heart of our celebrations, the gateway to our dreams and the sound track to our memories.
If music is the food of the soul then Borrowed notes has the potential to enrich many, many lives.
